Yang Yueli, as a creator who has been deeply involved in the field of art for many years, has dabbled in many fields such as resin, ceramics, flower paper and European wire. Her 17 years of experience in the industry has not only accumulated rich practical experience for her, but also cultivated her unique aesthetic vision. Every material is given new life in her hands, and these experiences have laid a solid foundation for her later watercolor creation.
After transforming into a watercolor painter, Yang Yueli boldly explored and used colors to create refreshing works. Her watercolor works are known for their novel color matching and light and dark blending techniques, which appropriately capture the ever-changing nature and life. In each painting, the collision and harmony between colors show her delicate observation and deep understanding of the world. The changes in light and shadow flow under her pen, like the melody of music, leading the viewer to feel the indescribable emotions.
Each of Yang Yueli’s watercolor works is an expression of her soul and an extension of her philosophical thinking. In 2013, she held a pen painting solo exhibition in Xiamen with the theme of old houses in her hometown – “Who Moved My Memory”, aiming to protect the ancient architectural heritage; in 2015, she graduated from the “2015 Shenzhen Watercolor Advanced Research and Creation Class”. She participated in the “2015 Beautiful Shenzhen-Charming Pengcheng Art Exhibition”, and her work “Still Life” won the “Excellence Award”, her work “Mooring” won the “Bronze Award”, her work “Southern Fujian Faith” won the “Silver Award” in the weekly competition, and her work “People Are More Beautiful Than Flowers” won the “Brick and Stone Award” in the weekly competition; in 2016, she graduated from the “2016 Shenzhen Watercolor Advanced Research and Creation Class”. The work “Year after Year of Fish” was selected for the 2016 New Year Watercolor Still Life Online Exhibition; “Carnival in Midsummer, Hundred Insects” was exhibited in the 2016 “Beautiful Midsummer” Watercolor Exhibition; in 2017, he won the National Social Art Examination-Watercolor Level 10 Certificate and graduated from the “Watercolor Painter Jin Li Watercolor Training Class”; in 2019, he participated in the “100 Painters Taining Sketching Tour” and won the Excellence Award; in 2020, he won the first prize in the art group at the first calligraphy and painting competition for primary and secondary school teachers of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. In the same year, he was hired as a judge of the color sketch group of the online exhibition of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association.
